Modprobe.D Empty

Modprobe.D Empty

1/23/2012  · Re: /etc/modprobe. d folder is empty That’s because kmod doesn’t come with any, and pacman procedure is to back up the config files before removal of a package (which, for 99% of the people, pacman seems to do in case of module-init-tools – it went like this here).

11/9/2020  · /etc/modprobe. d is used to define options of modules loaded. BUT: In /etc/modprobe. d i have a file: linux54-broadcom-wl.conf which contains this: blacklist b43 blacklist b43legacy blacklist ssb blacklist bcm43xx blacklist brcm80211 blacklist brcmfmac blacklist brcmsmac blacklist bcma The /etc/modules-load.d only contains an empty modules.conf file, I think Rasbian removed the whole default raspi-blacklist.conf file sometime ago. Instead of editing the /boot/config.txt as suggested by Stabby.. The better way of doing it without going to change the file is use raspi-config to change the setting for you.

regarding initramfs-tools: cannot stat ‘/etc/modprobe. d /*’ warning from empty /etc/modprobe. d / to be marked as done. This means that you claim that the problem has been dealt with. If this is not the case it is now your responsibility to reopen the Bug report if necessary, and/or fix the problem forthwith.

See modprobe. d (5).-n, –dry-run, –show. … This produces a (possibly empty ) set of module filenames, one per line, each starting with insmod and is typically used by distributions to determine which modules to include when generating initrd/initramfs images.

modprobe – Add and remove modules from the Linux Kernel, Linux modprobe command help and examples, Linux modprobe Command Examples to View, Install, Remove …

modprobe(8): add/remove modules from Kernel – Linux man page, See modprobe. d (5). -n, –dry-run, –show This option does everything but actually insert or delete the modules (or run the install or remove commands). Combined with -v, it is useful for debugging problems. For historical reasons both –dry-run and –show actually mean the same thing and are interchangeable.
